PLANNING FOR 2020 SCHEDULE
Dear Region 1 Organizers,
Greetings
from all of us at the Scottsdale Office. It is time to formally plan for the
2020 schedule of classes. When we approve the class the 2020 dates appear in the
relevant sections under the "Classes" tab on the main menu of our
website. Please proof to make
sure all is correct. Send edits and corrections to terry@jsjinc.com.
The steps to take for class planning in Region 1 - USA:
1. READ/REVIEW
The
New Organizer Guide https://bit.ly/2HzmFky
IMPORTANT CLASS SCHEDULING GUIDELINES
General Guidelines
·U.S.
Time Slot Classes (PDF) (WORD) –
this is a guide for regions.
·Invite an Instructor and discuss a date for Class.
·The updated faculty phone and address list. PDF | WORD
2. TEST PROPOSED DATES, FILL OUT, AND SUBMIT CLASS PLANNING FORM USING THE “ORGANIZER CREATE CLASS SYSTEM”
The “Organizer create class” system insures your planned classes are aligned with the 6 week/250 mile guideline. To access this system, you will need to be in the Organizer section of https://www.jsjinc.net. When in that section find the heading 'Helpful Links' (top of right side column), and click on the link called Organizer Create Class - Please follow instructions. Please note the zip code check refers to the zip code where your venue is, NOT your home address.
There is now a video which will guide you through this process. Please click on this link in the Organizer section of the web: https://youtu.be/mX_WzrzQ16A
3. USE THE CORRECT FORMS
IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS WHAT FORMS YOU SHOULD BE USING PLEASE REVIEW THE CLASS FORMS INDEX
4. TAKE PARTICULAR NOTE OF THE FOLLOWING:
- Do not combine different classes on one form; use one
class planning form for each type of class you wish to organize. When appropriate this is true for credit card forms also.
- Even if you organize a class after the brochure is published, you
still need to follow all the steps outlined above.
- Preferably do not publish any class flyers for 2020 until you are certain of any tuition and deposit changes. If you do, at least state that tuition fees are TBA.
The steps to take for class planning in Region 1 - Non USA:
Do as for the USA above except ignore step 3 and follow expanded version of step 2 below:
2. READ AS APPROPRIATE:
a.
Invite an Instructor and discuss a date for Class.
b. The updated faculty phone and address
list. PDF | WORD
c. Pacific Rim Time Slot Classes (PDF)(WORD)
d. Mexico Time Slot Classes (PDF)(WORD)
The steps to take for Class planning in all other Regions
Please follow steps for NON USA but ignore steps 2c. and d.

New organizers: It will benefit you to introduce yourself to class organizers in your region. This communication will help you to familiarize yourself with the process of harmonizing class scheduling per the time slots.
If you haven't already done so, now is the time to contact the instructor of your choice and start considering possible dates for the seminars you wish to organize. To see what classes have already been scheduled, please go to the Classes page on our website (http://www.jsjinc.net ). Click on the “Classes" tab. A menu will come up listing all the various types of classes.
Please submit all "Class Planning Forms" for 2020 classes to the Scottsdale office no later than August 16th, 2019. Keep in mind that all class dates remain tentative until the schedule is finalized by August 30, 2019. In cooperation with the instructors, we will be resolving scheduling conflicts as they arise so that alternate dates can be considered and worked out. It is in your best interest to have your dates submitted on time.
If you don't have a particular instructor in mind, you can see who may be available by checking the classes already scheduled on the website for the dates you have in mind. If you still need assistance contact the Scottsdale Office.
CHECK THAT ALL OF YOUR CLASS LISTINGS ARE POSTED ,and look for accuracy, and spelling on our web site www.jsjinc.net. This is important. This is how your listing will appear in both the U.S. International Brochure and the European Brochure. Call or email us with corrections: (480) 998-9331 or terry@jsjinc.com
2020 Tuition and Fees will be finalized and posted on the website as soon as possible. We ask that you do not publish any class flyers for 2019 until you are certain of any tuition and deposit changes. If you feel you need to get the flyer out before the end of 2019, you may check with the Scottsdale Office for final rates or publish your flyer without tuition fees. Deposits are likely to remain the same. Again, nothing is really set in stone until the instructors have set the tuition fees.
If you have trouble opening, downloading and printing out these documents from our web site, please let us know. Contact terry@jsjinc.com, or josh@jsjinc.com. If we can't help you resolve your difficulty, we will fax, or mail you a hard copy.
