CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Jin Shin Jyutsu, Inc. is an approved continuing education provider for nursing, acupuncture, asian bodywork therapy and massage therapy. Here is information and language you can extract to use in your flyers and notices to promote and provide information about Continuing Education Units or Hours. This, of course, is also for your general information in order to answer students' questions. Ask students during sign-up or registration if they are interested in any of our Continuing Education programs. License numbers for nursing and acupuncture are to be brought to class.

• All paperwork and fees are to be provided to the organizer by the end of class.
• Fees can be paid in cash or check made payable to Jin Shin Jyutsu, Inc.

We recommend that you download the forms and instructions for each program and take them to your class in case someone shows up unexpectedly.

Some students may say to you that Nursing CEUs are acceptable for their specific non-nursing license. We have no way of knowing this. At this point (hopefully before class) you can have them call the Scottsdale Office about this matter. Otherwise, you must ask the student if their licensing board recognizes California Board of Registered Nursing CEUs. If the student has no idea and shows no inclination to researching that out, we cannot give Nursing CEUs to them. If your student becomes irritated or demanding about this, contact the Scottsdale Office immediately so they can speak to the student directly. What we can offer them is a Letter of Verification with our Provider number for nursing CEUs featured.

NCBTMB MASSAGE THERAPY – #285604-00

(National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork)

Jin Shin Jyutsu, Inc., is an approved provider for Continuing Education Hours for massage therapists who are already certified with NCBTMB. New York State Residents - Jin Shin Jyutsu, Inc. can issue NCBTMB continuing education credits (CEU's) for classes taught by Jed Schwartz only.

ACUPUNCTURE AND ASIAN BODYWORK THERAPY CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAMS:

Jin Shin Jyutsu, Inc. is an approved provider for BOTH California Board of Acupuncture and for NCCAOM Acupuncture/Asian Bodywork. CEUs can be issued to acupuncturists licensed by the CA Board of Acupuncture, and PDA points can be issued to NCCAOM certified acupuncturists and NCCAOM certified Asian Bodywork Therapists. Double-check with the student to make sure they are the correct forms as CA Board requires a fee while NCCAOM does not!

If a JSJ class type or CE organization/agency is not listed above, we can offer the Letter of Verification, which documents total hours attended at class as well as each of our provider numbers. We cannot guarantee that the alternative agency will accept Jin Shin Jyutsu, Inc. CE credits, as it varies state to state. We do not keep record of those that do or do not. We are NOT a post-secondary educational institution, and that is sometimes a determining factor as to whether or not a state will honor our hours.
